COMMUNITY BASED ASSESSMENTS
We conduct comprehensive community-based parenting assessments, collaborating closely with parents and their children within their own homes or other agreed-upon locations. In instances where children are in Looked After settings, we incorporate contact sessions as an integral part of the assessment process.
The parents we engage with may present a spectrum of challenges, which encompass mental health issues, learning difficulties, substance misuse, and domestic abuse. Our parenting assessments are meticulously crafted to evaluate the potential risks to the children if they remain in their parents' care and assess the possibility, method, and extent to which such risks can be mitigated.
Our approach to assessments is adaptable and tailored to the unique needs of each family, often incorporating family interventions when deemed appropriate. We prioritize a holistic and flexible methodology that is sensitive to the family's circumstances and requirements.

If a community-based assessment isn't necessary, we can also provide parenting assessments for parents whose children are in the care of the local authority or for cases involving planned rehabilitation. Our team is skilled in conducting assessments for parents who have been identified as having learning or developmental challenges, utilizing tools such as Parent Assess and PAMS.
